Privacy Policy

perf.life is a personal health dashboard built and run by João Morais for his own use. It is not a commercial service and has no other users.

What data perf.life accesses

With the account owner's explicit permission, given through Oura's own authorization screen, perf.life reads data from the owner's Oura account through the Oura API. That can include sleep, readiness, activity, workouts, sessions, heart rate, SpO₂, stress, heart health, tags, ring configuration, and basic profile information, limited to the scopes the owner approves.

How the data is used

The data is used only to display the owner's own health information in the owner's personal perf.life dashboard, next to other records the owner has chosen to add (for example lab results and fitness tests).

Where the data is stored

• Data is fetched by a script that runs on the owner's own computer.
• Access tokens and the application's credentials are stored only on that computer, outside version control, and are never published.
• Synced health data is stored in the owner's private records.

What perf.life does not do

• It does not sell, rent, or share data with anyone.
• It does not use data for advertising, profiling, or training models.
• It does not access any Oura account other than the owner's.

Revoking access

Access can be revoked at any time from the Oura account's app settings. Revoking it stops all further syncing. Previously synced data can be deleted by the owner at any time.

Changes

If perf.life is ever offered to other people, this policy will be rewritten before anyone else's data is accessed.
